Graphic card advise-6970 or 570

Ok so I'm stuck between these two cards at the moment. I've looked up benchmarks for them and they are close enough for that not to be a factor for me. What I'm asking is how they fare in terms of cooling, realiability and noise. So what is your personal preference between these two?

I'm in the same boat, still cant decide, read so many reviews that dissagree which is best, especially for the upcoming BF3.
I have read that the extra memory on the HD 6970 does not get used in games, but there is a post on this board for the latest DX11 updates to Crysis 2 that says the recommended memory for the upgrade is 1.5gb, where the GTX 570 only has 1.25.
The only thing I can find that the different reviews agree on is that the HD 6970 runs hotter and uses more power
