Graphics Card - Help?

Hello,

I bought a laptop from PcSpecialist a month or so ago, and it has the Nvidia GeForce GT 645M, however here: http://gyazo.com/e3462262d401ac86e604fa0d40358757 it's saying my graphic card is the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000..

Surely it should be Nvidia GeForce GT 645M?

I think this is normal if the laptop uses Nvidia Optimus.

It's also showing the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000 in the 'Windows Experience Index' > 'View and print detailed performance and system info'

Is there a way I can check if stuff I run/games ect is running off the Nvidia GeForce GT 645M, and not the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000?

from memory,

click on the nvidia control panel, then i think its manage 3d settings, then global, then set the nvidia processor for everything. Its something like that, have a play in there I think its easy to find.

Its also worth downloading the Nvidia experience, its a pretty good tool, updates ur drivers for you, and optimizes game settings. - http://www.geforce.co.uk/drivers/geforce-experience
