Graphics Card Problem

I awoke early last week to find my COOLIT ECO A.L.C. liquid cooler for my processor had leaked and in the process covered my graphics card in liquid :(. To cut a long story short I have replaced the cooler with a fan and thankfully my system now boots up ok, however on occasion my screen will black out and although I can hear the music if a game is playing I believe the system has also hung as key presses have no effect. Upon rebooting the system will give the beep code for no VGA card installed and the LED for same will light up on the motherboard, after a few attempts it gets going again but this obviously not right. Is the graphics card the issue here or could it be motherboard related - I am inclined to believe its the card but want to be sure before I fork out money to replace the card.

Thanks in advance,

James

As Tom says, if under warranty definitely give PCS a ring.

Even if not under warranty, you may find that CoolIT may sort something out, cos I know some of their water-coolers back when the i5-750 was newish were a bit more susceptible to leaks than should've been (note this is from what I saw, it may not be actually true), I can't guarantee they'll do anything, but I'm sure someone else recently had a problem with one of those type of coolers and CoolIT sorted out something.

Glad i avoided those coolers , seems a lot of folks have had them leak on them :(

It seems the issue is with the previous one not the coolit II, as far as I know there were no leakages on them (I was told that before ordering mine :) )

True , i just heard so many horror stories all over net about that particular brand of liquid cooler i just decided to go for the air setup instead , have had other rigs with single loop liquid coolers in them & they were all fine , but these were not made by cool-it at all , they were corsair & alienware.
