Hi I want to order Vortex IV but still thinking about graphic card which will be better? Few years ago I had problems with Ati card and since then I was using only geforces.
How is Ati now? Is enduro workings good? Drivers are coming out more often then it used to be? It is stable card?
Or maybe GeForce is better?

I saw benchmarks and AMD seems to be 25% better... What you will choose?

Assuming 1400 euro is about £1175... how are you affording a 8970 without compromising elsewhere (CPU, HDD)?? WHat's your build for £1175?

the point is if AMD GPU will work fine with Intel CPU and if it will use only CPU graphic during for example battery usage and just browsing web. And if there are no drivers problems.

My understanding is regardless of an nvidia or AMD gpu when not plugged the laptop will use the integrated gpu. The HD 8970m is stronger than the gtx 770m but from previous threads my impression is that you may need to fiddle with drivers and features to get the most out of your gpu and drivers supported by the chassis are not released very often.
