They've released a new GTX Titan XP, which is available on the Nvidia website at £1159

The 1080 ti wasn't the king of the pile for very long

Seems like Nvidia are really keen to push the full lineup out before Vega is released

I think it's just a natural refresh, what with the 1080 ti having the tweaked memory and refreshed 1080 and 1060 models having already been announced.

Possibly more akin to the Polaris refresh also underway than fluffing up their feathers for Vega, though I suppose it's also one last whip-round while they totally dominate the upper end of the market.

It seems like the major review sites are effectively boycotting its release. Either that or Nvidia didn't send any review samples and no site felt the need to source one themselves.

You cannot really boycott a release, sites need to remain impartial. I think it is mainly a NDA as the titan Xp is available for weeks directly from the nvidia website.
