Hard Drive Upgrade & Warranty

I was just wondering if I buy and install a hard drive myself, does that invalidate the warranty? Only reason I ask is that your SSD's seem to have taken a jump in price this last few days :(

won't invalidate the warranty as long as it doesnt cause a wreckage of the whole system, of course though, if the hard drive breaks itself, it wont be covered

I'd recommend sending the drive to them and then they can install it and test it. You won't get a warranty on it though but I'd recommend sending them the drive so when they build your laptop they put it in. However, if you already have the laptop, yes you can install it. They are really easy to install.
