Hey, I have been really concerned with hardrives because I plan on purchasing a Gaming PC but I don't know what to go for there is Solid state and general hardrives. I know that solid state hardrives are very quick at loading operating systems and applications but since I'm buying a PC for specifically Gaming, Modeling and Photoshop is there really any need for an SSD? I wouldent mind getting some general hardrives but I want performance at the same time. Storage is not an issue I have a few External 2TB hardrives but the current SSD's are just far far too exspensive and the capacity is just incredibly low and purchasing a 240gb ssd probably wouldent even cover the ammount of games I would instal.. so you see it's abit of a confusion at the moment for me.

Nobody really needs an SSD they're just really nice to have. The western digital HDD's won't let you down, you could go for a 10,000RPM raptor HDD instead as a compromise between the two types.

The Raptors cost pretty much the same ammount as the 120gb SSD drive.
