It's that time again, the mad man Steve @ HUB has tested 35 B650 motherboards using a 7950X!




TLDR: ASRock has seem to have done incredibly well this time round, kudos to them! The Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite (a mobo we have on the configurator) also comes very highly praised! Aaand the ASUS Prime line seems to be a range it might be better to forget.

This is really good news, I'm loving ASRock's Taichi lineup this time round, they've really listened to customers and made some Taichi boards without all the excess frills like the overt metal covers and excessive RGB, brings the price down 80 - $100 dollars for exactly the same board.

Good to know their VRM setup is paying off as well, should put a good compatibility with future high end CPUs on AM5.
