Okay so those are the specs for the desktop I have ordered, and then I've just gone for the PCS Spectrum RGB Mid Tower Case. Done a little bit of reading and now feel this might be the wrong decision? Can anyone recommend another case from the website that isn't too much more money? Thanks in advance :)

First things first - please give us full your specs and a link...

Then, what will this pc be for: streaming, gaming, editing? And what monitor? (Size, refresh rate, resolution) What's your targeted budget?

This PC will pretty much only be used for gaming and everyday use, and I haven't got a monitor yet but I've been recommended the Samsung Odyssey G5

G5 is a nice monitor... Could you please include the link to your specs too as explained and requested? It will make us much easier to replicate and tweak your build.

Ahh yeah sorry missed that bit:

I'm already leaning towards my max. budget with this so not sure what the best option is.

5600X should do the job if you want to save and will not be editing or streaming as it's a great gaming CPU. For gaming only 5800X is just overkill.

You may use a stock coooler but I picked a very good AIO cooler - I wouldn't cheap out for AIO. If you want to save but don't want an amd stock cooler, get a quiet Noctua air cooler - slightly cheaper.

Picked a better PC case.

There're two versions of Samsung G5: 27 and 34 inch. I picked 3070 instead of 3060Ti, because I don't know your monitor version. If it's 27inch, you can use 3060Ti, depending on games, if 34, then 3070.

Upped M.2 to 1TB - don't need to save there as 500GB gets full quickly. Ideally I'd even easily take 2TB Sata SSD and just 2TB HDD instead of 4TB HDD.

And I dropped antivirus as you can find a better one or use Microsoft Defender which is good enough and already built in the OS.

Thank you for this I really appreciate it :) I see you also changed the cooling system which I had the MasterLiquid 240 on before, is that something you also recommend changing too then?

No probs ;) I've just edited my above post so just quickly run through it again ;) I personally don't like cheap AIO. 5600X has a stock cooler. It's good, but not the quietest. If you want an aftermarket cooler but also save money, get an air cooler.

If you give me more details about your monitor (27 or 34 inch) as per above and games you play, I may adjust the above suggested build.

Thanks 🙌🏼 Was more looking towards 27" for the monitor, not fussed about having anything too big, the G5 Odyssey looks nice so would look towards going for one of those if I can find them in stock anywhere 😂

What games will you play in your Odyssey? :)

Pretty much whatever I play currently on console which is Modern Warfare, FIFA 21, F1 2020, Skyrim, GTA V etc. plus there'll be graphics mods and stuff that I'd like to add to certain games such as GTA and Elder Scrolls. Flight Simulator and BeamNG are two others I'm interested to try :)

For flight simulation games you may need 32GB RAM. What's the exact name of the game?

Flight Simulator 2020, might just be that I'd have to run it on slightly lower settings.

Also if I could afford it would you recommend the Corsair Obsidian 500D SE case?
