My new laptop is being dispatched soon so i thought i would post and say hi.
Many many years ago (must have been when i was around 18, i'm 33 now!) i was a big PC gamer, playing Halflife and Counterstrike along with working on various fan websites for Project IGI and the first Operation Flashpoint (they even game me a pre release build which was very fun as there was a lot of funny bugs). I was building a lot of Quake 3 maps but could never get into the Halflife modding tools. I used to build my own PC's but fallen away from this and dont have the space for a desktop so PC Specialist seemed just too good to be true.
I gave this all up for many years and then got an xbox 360!!!
sold this and i'm really looking forward to getting back into PC games. Mouse and keyboard, you just cant beat it.
I play a lot of Minecraft and just got Skyrim working on my crappy work PC at 800x600 res, tiny but works only just Intel HD 2500 graphics.
With my new laptop, i hope to try some new games and even some of the older ones i have missed out on. I played a lot of Bad Company 2, so will probably get back into that, i just wish there was a PC version of Red Dead Redemption, what a game!
The laptops not the greatest specs but from what i can see on youtube and the recent review of the Engima IV it will be able to play all the recent games, maybe toned down slightly. Cant wait for the DayZ standaloane.
