hello new owner of optimus III here

Hello everyone I received today the Optimus III and will be checking it out when i get home (partner took delivery, hurry up time!!).

I am an avid Linux user so I will be hovering on the Linux section a lot most likely.

Hello,

Just got the optimus III too and run only on Linux (Kubuntu 12.04). Everything works great out of the box except 3 things:

NVIDIA Optimus (ethier use bumblebee project or wait till NVIDIA decide to add a support for Linux)
Card reader and webcam not recognised and can't even see them in the list of hardware
Function key for backlghts (all other function keys work perfect) but this might be due to a driver issue due to missing support for optimus (just a guess).

Has anyone experience similar issue / have found solutions??

Otherwise the laptop is great, solid well built, really happy about it!
