Help, Lost D:\ Drive.

Ok so i got a laptop:

Optimus VIII
Intel Core i7 (2.8,3.8) CPU
16GB Hyper Impact RAM
1050 Ti GPU
2TB slimline serial ATA III 2.5" HDD
M.2 Samsung SM961 SSD 128MB Cache
Now i installed my own copy of windows 10 and am yet to activate it.
I have OS installed on SSD and using HDD for storage.
I was on a game on steam i go to log off check another game for internet connection speed and couldnt find the shortcut. To my Delight my D:\ drive (2TB HDD) is no longer showing up. so i check my disk management and it is not there, I have restarted the laptop no success. before i do a recovery i wanted to see if anyone else could help as i am about to go away for two weeks abroad and need my laptop with me. Could it be a faulty connection physical connection?

Any help would be much appreciated

Ok so update turns out i took it apart and checked the physical connection as i couldnt hear the HDD or feel its spinning disc. There didnt seem to be a faulty connection but i pushed it anyways didnt see any movement, i put it back together and voila D;\ has come back to me.

If this is less than a year old I would call PCS and report your problem and the resolution to them. That will at least log the problem as occurring during the warranty period and should it turn out to be something more serious that causes problems in the future you'll be covered by the warranty.
