[Help request] Wrongly assigned partition in my new laptop

Dear PCs,
I had just ordered a laptop with this specification to which the harddrive was to be divided to 160 and 160 GB partitions instead I received my OS installed on a 20 GB partition- How can I increase the size of my C from my E drive which is 277 GB? Do i need to give my order number?

You can reallocate space from one partition to another.

The problem is, it doesn't work as the Extend function is greyed out on my C drive.

Are you using the Partition Manager 12 software? The free version could be the cause. Google guides/tutorials on the subject, I used to employ PM 12 for various partitioning operations, though I think it was the full version.

You need to right click on the 277GB partition in disk management and delete to make it unallocated space before you can extend the C partition.

Ah, yes, that would be logical, since there's currently no unallocated space.

I have tried the above mentioned suggestions- and failed! So, I formatted everything and now got it done the required way.
