Help with a laptop build!

This build isn't for me, it's for my step-brother - He's looking to spend £500/£600 on a laptop, which he'll be using for: Gaming, editing, rendering mainly. Along with normal surfing the web stuff.

If you have any build, that'll do the job for that price, I'd be grateful to know!

This is £40 over-budget but would be my suggestion.

This machine should be pretty good for gaming - not one of the high-end powerhouse machines but able to cope with just about anything medium/high and 1366 x 768. It won't be that great for video-editing/rendering but I don't think you'd find anything better in the same price bracket (at least, not while preserving the ability to run games).

A nice upgrade (but even further over-budget) would be the 1920 x 1080 screen. That brings it to ~£690 though.
