Help with Ethernet Controller not working - windows 10 SkyFire: 14"

Hi all,

So i got the SkyFire: 14", the WiFi works fine, but my LAN doesn't work at all, i have been dealing with it and trying to find a fix for a while, but no joy.

(i can't see the card model on my invoice or in my device manager)

PCS are basically just saying "downgrade windows". I Bought windows 10, it seems crazy that i have to buy again, or even downgrade.

I was considering moving to Linux mint or ubuntu to fix it, but was told that won't fix it either.

Is there any way to hack a solution together? I spent more money on this than i should have, i never expected no Ethernet capabilities!

Can you post your full spec (from the PCS site)?

I've not heard of Windows 10 not supporting LAN cards but there are more than a few issues with Windows 10. If you open Device Manager and expand the Network Adapters section what entries do you see? If you see one for a "family controller" that will be your LAN card.
