To summarise the link provided above...
What we need from you:
When you ask for advice we will ALWAYS need to know the following information. When posting it, if you could include this it would make a world of difference to us. Similar to posting your spec below, you will have far more interested parties taking the time to get involved in your thread if you take the time to offer the information required. Put simply, help us to help you. This information typically includes:
  • Monitor - Model or Resolution AND refresh rate. If you don't have one, what is the budget you have for one?
  • Uses - What is the system for. Is it just gaming? What about VR? Streaming? Video processing?
  • Budget - We need to know where to spend and where to cut back. Some items are more important than others so knowing the margins we have to work within we can will always try to accommodate your budget.

Is the budget with or without a monitor?

What types of games do you play? Is there something specific that demands 64GB of RAM?

Do you do ANYTHING other than gaming on it (e.g. streaming, photo-editing, video-editing, 3d rendering, audio-editing, etc.), and do you need something suitable for VR?

My budget includes the money for a monitor, the PC will mainly be for gaming purposes although every now and then I enjoy some photo-editing, I tend to like playing large scale strategy game and single player story rpg games, e.g total war, Bualders Gate 3, Hell divers, Stellaris, Crusader kings, Squad, Dragon's Dogma 2.

And relating to the monitor I'm willing to stretch my budget if needed

I think the budget should get you a 4k-capable build, with either a UWQHD or 4K monitor.

The build below will be great, and leaves £400 or so for a good monitor (probably not enough for an OLED though).

Case
CORSAIR 5000D AIRFLOW TEMPERED GLASS GAMING CASE
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Eight Core CPU (4.2GHz-5.0GHz/104MB w/3D V-CACHE/AM5) - the daddy of gaming CPUs at the moment, the 7950X3D only makes sense if you need the extra cores for heavy lifting (i.e. not games)
Motherboard
ASUS® TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS WIFI (AM5, DDR5, PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 6E) - ASUS MBs tend to be preferred around here, and this has 7.1 audio built-in, along with 2.5Gbe ethernet
Memory (RAM)
32GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 16GB) - no real need for 64GB, unless you have something you know is going to use it
Graphics Card
16GB NVIDIA GEFORCE RTX 4080 SUPER - HDMI, DP, LHR
Graphics Card Support Bracket
NONE (BRACKET INCLUDED AS STANDARD ON 4070 Ti / RX 7700 XT AND ABOVE)
1st M.2 SSD Drive
512GB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7000MB/sR, 4700MB/sW) - small, fast OS/Apps drive, to promote good housekeeping to keep it running at its fastest
1st M.2 SSD Drive
2TB SOLIDIGM P41+ GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 4125MB/sR, 3325MB/sW) - much larger drive for game installs
Power Supply
CORSAIR 1200W RMx SHIFT SERIES™ MODULAR 80 PLUS GOLD, ULTRA QUIET - probably overkill, but is one of the newer ATX3/PCIe5 PSU (could save £50 here if you wanted to use it elsewhere by going down to the older model 1000W)
Power Cable
1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead, 1.0mm Core)
Processor Cooling
CORSAIR ICUE LINK H150i RGB HIGH PERFORMANCE CPU COOLER - if you're using iCUE Link fans elsewhere in the case, then the whole PC should use the same system
Thermal Paste
STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
LED Lighting
2 x 50cm ARGB LED Strip - might be overkill, and will have to be controlled via the motherboard software
Extra Case Fans
3 x Corsair ICUE LINK QX120 RGB PWM Fan + Controller Kit - if you're using iCUE Link fans elsewhere in the case, then the whole PC should use the same system
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
ONBOARD 2.5Gbe LAN PORT
USB/Thunderbolt Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS

Thats Greats, Thanks as you can probably tell its my first time designing my own so I just went max on anything I thought I needed, just one question, do you think this would keep up with modern games for the next 5 or so years. Also should I get a surge protector on this site with the PC or buy one somewhere else, And also if I was to upgrade it in the future what should I prioritise for best performance?

There's more then one question sorry

Yes, a surge protector (from here or elsewhere) is mandatory really...I think it's even part of the warranty terms.

That build will last 5 years without any upgrade, as long as you're playing the same games at the same resolution. However, the GPU is normally the component that gets swapped out earliest as games and their GPU power requirements are always increasing.

But the PC is ready for a next-gen (or next-gen-but-one) GPU or CPU upgrade in 2/3/5 years as needed.

If you're not planning on 4k gaming, then you can save significantly on the GPU for now and get a 1440p build (monitor would be cheaper too).

This is part of the reason we ask so many questions, otherwise we're just guessing at what you need to spend to suit your needs, and I'm more than happy to spend other people's money for them.

Thanks So much this has been a great help, I don't plan to purchase untill the end of the month so I'm going to do a bit more research meanwhile.

What do you think of this monitor:

ASUS TUF VG279QM1A 27 Inch 280Hz IPS FHD Gaming Monitor

Would this be a good pick of should I reconsider?

That's a large 1080p monitor. In standard 16:9 ratio:
  • 1080p is best below 24"
  • 1440p is best at 27-32"
  • 4k/2160p over 32"
For the PC you've built, I'd be looking at something at this end of the market (i.e. a 32" 4k or a superwide):

LG 32GR93 £600-ish

Samsung Odyssey G7 £600-ish

Gigabyte M32U (or UC if you want curved) £600-ish

MSI MAG323UPF £500-ish

Just using the Curry's links above for consistency (not a huge gaming monitor selection though), but the prices can vary by up to £200 depending on time of year and store.

Yes, that’s one of the 1440p ultrawides (there are less curved and flat options too) - but it will not make the most of the GPU and you could get away with a 4070Ti Super, and save £200.

But when I mention ’superwide’ I mean thing like the Samsung G9…5120x1440p (i.e. double 1440p)

OLED (a bargain at £1100)

Non OLED (about £1200)

We love you Ukraine
It's a very budget 4k 144Hz gaming monitor and uses the older IPS technology and has very poor HDR performance (300 nits brightness).

IMHO, at this level, I would say it would be a FAR better experience going for a lower spec GPU and pairing with a high end ultra wide over a higher GPU and a poor spec 4k monitor.

The monitor is the final output from the PC. Doesn't matter how good your PC is, you'll only ever see what the monitor can output. I would say with the budget you have, you will get far far more gaming oomph from a good HDR1000 monitor and preferably OLED.

4k with dull image and brightness would be far worse than ultra wide with incredible HDR.

I would suggest this monitor which is the new QD OLED V2 technology which vastly improves text quality, plus hugely reduces burn in issues:
