Help with new PC budget £1000

Hi,
My PC recently died and I’m looking to get a new one. I mainly used my PC to remote into my work pc, and developing basic 2D games in Unity, ideally I want to eventually get a VR headset and be able to play Boneworks. Do you have any reccomendations?

To be able to play VR game im afraid your going to have to go over your budget unless you want to downgrade on your CPU which I wouldn’t particularly recommend. I have put this together below:

The cheaper GTX 1660 are out of stock but for better performance I would try and get an RTX 2060.

I personally wouldn't go any lower than a 2070 for VR, you're likely to end up vomiting on your keyboard with a lesser GPU. As above, you're going to need go significantly over your intended budget for any kind of reasonable quality.
