Hi guys im new to pc gaming and was wanting some help to see if this PC would meet my needs, Im wanting to play games like gta V with mods, COD, New world and upcoming games ideally i would like to run new/upcoming games on high settings

My budget is around £1500/1600, I'm not to sure about monitors and the difference to be honest but the cheaper the better

Don't overlook the monitor! Particularly for competitive first person shooters. There is no point having a computer that can do 200 frames per second if your monitor can only display 24 frames per second.

Yes, the majority of them would be maxxed out in a 1080p 144hz screen

Yeah l, any kind of custom build or pre built from pc specialist, ideally wanting to squeeze in a 3070 to save from upgrading for a while, but it all honesty everything else do do with a pc and gaming requirements is a but confusing to me

A 3070 is just not going to be possible with your budget, unfortunately. You’re in the ballpark for a good 1080p system with enough grunt to take a couple of GPU upgrades as time goes on and you have more expendable income.

As long as i would be able to upgrade i would be happy with a machine like that, just dont want to be buying a completwly new rig in 2/3 years. Mostly want to play AAA games at higher that 60fps 1080p and games like gta v with mods
