hello, I am deciding to buy a new pc because my laptop sucks.
And I am looking for a good one mainly for gaming at max settings. But I need to
know if the specs I have chosen are good to run call of duty, minecraft and others
at max settings. These are specs I have chosen.

Ive been hearing that the graphics card I have chosen wont run max settings, but if you
have any suggestions that would be great. And also my budget is £850

You could easily drop the processor down to the i5-2500, you wont notice that much difference between the i5-2500 and the i7-2600, and unless you're planning on doing some decent overclocking you don't need the k variant of the CPU.

This would give you space to up the graphics card to possibly the GTX570 which would do a lot better than the 550 - most modern games use the graphics a lot, so the GPU is quite important for gaming machines

Also if you can, get a Caviar Black drive instead of the bog standard hard drive, its a bit speedier for booting and loading.

thank you. just one question. what is the best AMD processor I never had a AMD before and I know that i7 for intel is the best, just don't know the best for AMD. all the II series and stuff confuses me.
