Hey guys, new here and just looking to say hi to everyone!
Just ordered my PC on the 29th after a very, very long wait (Been trying to save money since February and not spend much of it and finally had enough to order a PC.) I've always been a console gamer but have finally gave in and decided to go for PC gaming as I've been missing out!

I also start Uni in just under 2 weeks and I'm praying that I get my PC before then although I doubt I will. I thought it would be better if I got a solid CPU, MOBO etc... first that will last me quite a few years and go with a cheaper GPU for now as I'm planning on upgrading it around Christmas or so anyway, here are the specs I have chosen:

If you are not overclocking you should go with the i5-3570 (non-k) version of your cpu and the triple copper heatpipe cpu cooler. A caviar black will also be faster than the standard hdd you selected and at least silver warranty for £5

The reason I went for the 3570K is because I will be overclocking, just not right now And I pretty much reached my max budget too so I don't really have much money to upgrade anything. When is the cut off point for someone to amend the order? Is it as soon as the building process starts or pre-production or what?

Once your build reaches the in-building stage you might be charged by PCS to make an ammendment to your order (its not a huge fee, but its something to be aware of). You should be able to change your order as much as you like while still in pre-production.

You need a better cpu cooler for overclocking.

I know man, when I decide to overclock I will also be getting a better CPU cooler.
