How do I enable Asus AI charger on Maximus IV Extreme-Z

So i got a smartphone the other day and the only way to charge it is through USB. I downloaded Asus Ai charger but it doesn't work

Anyone have any idea what i can do? I have tried all my usb ports and none of them activate ai charger.

Is it an iphone? As far as I know this app only works on Apple products.

Ha, it only works on apple products despite having their own range of tablets and smartphones, thats ridiculously stupid

to use it you will have to install ASUS AI suite, generally on the mobo disk or via asus website - find ur mobo the click on the downloads section.

Ok I have done this and still no luck I'm starting to think my mobo doesn't support ai charger, I checked my mobo manual and there is nothing about high powered USB or ai charger.

Ok i see it there now, But it's still not working

I'll have a look at mine later see if I can get it working. Your phone should charge straight from the USB without that utility, I think it's just a fast charge tool. Failing that you should be able to buy an adaptor from USB to three pin plug like you get with the iPhone.

My phone (HTC One) does charge without ai charger but it charges rather slow.
