Hi

My old PC from pc specialist booted up in about 31 seconds


My new computer takes about 36 seconds

There's a 2 second delay from turning the PC on & the start of the recording.

I have noticed there's a pc specialist logo that appears on my monitor screen for a long time.

How do I speedup bootup time on PCS gaming PC ?

The simple way is go into bios and turn on quickboot.
Depending on the setup will depend on what you can do.
Post your full spec here and we can give advice, a few things that may be doable depending on your spec.

Turning off Marvell controller if the sata ports are not being used
Disable display logo
Disable/reduce time for display of warning and errors

etc etc.

It also depend son the motherboard it's self. I had same issues with my PC and after a lot of googling and fiddling I reduced the boot by about 8 seconds, it wasn't a massive issue for me as my PC is on 24/7 and only restarts once in a blue moon, it was just a niggly thing I wanted to sort out when I re-installed my whole machine.
