I have a SkyFire III with an NVidia GTX-760M but just noticed that it has been using the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 all this time!
the Xorg.0.log shows (this is Linux):
I know there is definitely a working GTX-760M in the laptop, because I can see it show as a 3D controller and see the Intel integrated graphics claiming to be the integrated controller...
So I went to the BIOS to see about how to switch off the integrated graphics... but there is no option?

Code:
[ 15.035] (--) intel(0): Integrated Graphics Chipset: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600

Code:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)
01:00.0 3D controller: NVIDIA Corporation GK106M [GeForce GTX 760M] (rev a1)
So I went to the BIOS to see about how to switch off the integrated graphics... but there is no option?
- any ideas?
