How to stop auto updates?

I have win10 home and wondered how to stop auto-updates, so I can manually do them in future, please?

The End User License Agreement that you implicitly accept when installing Windows 10 (and which you can read for yourself at c:\Windows\System32\license.rtf) says the following...

6. Updates. The software periodically checks for system and app updates, and downloads and installs them for you. You may obtain updates only from Microsoft or authorized sources, and Microsoft may need to update your system to provide you with those updates. By accepting this agreement, you agree to receive these types of automatic updates without any additional notice.

It's therefore contrary to the EULA to prevent the installation of automatic updates and so we cannot discuss this on these fora. Sorry.
