I DONT want windows 10 - how do i get rid of the annoying reserve an upgrade notifica

Hi

The solution below removed the windows 10 upgrade taskbar icon. But it reappeared after more windows updates where added.

Does anything here have a solution to remove this icon for good?

Click Start

Type: view installed updates

Hit Enter

Look through the list for the KB3035583 update.

Right click it and click Uninstall

Since it reappeared I guess it got reinstalled.
Uninstall the update and then when it is offered in Windows Update right click it and choose "hide this update".

Cool it's no longer reinstalling
