So I’ve been on this forum before and had people reply a bunch with builds etc. however I never had the money together to buy it. Well know I have the money to buy it but couldn’t log into my older account where the builds are on. So I’m going to try again (and remember my login lol)
Monitor (buying with other money) -

AOC CU34G2X/BK Quad HD 34" Curved VA Gaming Monitor

Budget - £2,200
Use for - Mainly gaming, I’d like to play most of the popular games at the highest possible quality. I do know that I want 32gb ram but everything else I’m not sure about. I also would like a case with good airflow.
Thank you to any one that even reads this yet alone replies! Appreciate it :)

Ok here's a nice starter that should do do nicely for £2033, I've dropped the RAM to 16GB which has given the budget to go for the 5800x cpu rather than 5600x, very few games require 32GB and it's easy enough to add later, especially as I've gone 2*8

@cOLDfIRE well done for including the answers to some of the common questions!

@Martinr36 beat me to it and came up with pretty much exactly the spec that I was going to suggest!

I have another couple of questions that might help with refining the selection:
1) You mentioned that you want 32GB RAM, is this for a particular reason? For gaming, you really don't need more than 16GB (as Martin has suggested)
2) Is RGB important to you, or are you less concerned about that?
3) You have a monitor in mind, which is good, but do you have any other peripherals? Keyboard, mouse, speakers etc

Ahh perfect! And these specs would run most popular games at high settings? I’ll stick with the 16gb ram then as it is for gaming.

3) I have all peripherals already yes :)

For a larger monitor, I can't help but feel the 3060 Ti might be insufficient. I know the resolution will be the same, but you'd really like all the textures to be at the highest possible quality given that the screen is pretty large, so I'd be inclined to look towards the 3070 (Ti if necessary for stock reasons).

That £40 over should be worth it
Thank you very much! Will be ordering this on Friday!! Can’t wait!

Can I just ask what you use to clean your PC? As in the past I’ve had trouble keeping it it’s free because I never knew what was best to use, people suggest compressed air but I’ve also read that it’s not good?

2) I don’t even know what RGB means
Sorry, it’s always bad when people assume others know what acronyms mean! That’s my mistake.

RGB stands for red, green and blue. It’s slang for the coloured lights that you get (as they use red, green and blue LEDs to make up the various colours of the rainbow). You can also get aRGB, which are addressable lights so that you can use the manufacturer’s software to control the separate LEDs individually and make pretty patterns. Many different components can have this feature now, but not all do by default. For example, you can choose to have the RAM with or without RGB. It costs a little extra, but it makes your computer look pretty. It’s really just down to personal preference. If you decide you want it, make sure that you get a case with a transparent side so that you can see it. The TD500 Mesh case that was suggested does have a tempered glass side.

p.s. for the monitor that you have selected, I would recommend the 3070 or the 3070ti graphics cards over the 3060 if you can afford either of them.

Prices are constantly fluctuating, if i was to buy the same build today that i ordered 8 working days ago it would cost me about another £50, if you save a quote that's valid for 5 days
