Inferno HDMI output to 1080p HD TV

Hey guys, I am really considering buying the 11.6 inch inferno laptop. I was wondering if it was possible to connect it to a, say, 42 inch 1080p TV at a 1080p resolution via the HDMI even though the native resolution for the laptop is only 720p? I don't mean showing the laptop's display on multiple displays at the same res. I mean actually making the TV the display and at 1080p. Can this be done? Thanks in advance

Yes it can, my mate has one and plugs it into his 1080p monitor through HDMI when he's home. If you configure it to use multi-monitor, then set the TV as default, then whenever you plug the HDMI in then it will default to the TV@1080p, but the monitor on the laptop will be the secondary monitor, so you can run your game on the TV but have some other stuff (say steam or facebook etc) open on the laptop's display.
