inferno sound from fan

Hey, as title says, my inferno started sounding funny, i opened and checked it there doesnt seem to be any cables hitting the fan or any dust. The sound is killing me it's very sharp. Has anyone encountered this?

Hi beg, have you updated to latest EC and Bios?
I think I read that the latest version has some fan control options. I haven't had any issues myself with fan sound myself but my older ears might not be able to hear the sound if it is high pitched.

While it's a subjective thing, I wouldn't say the fan noise from my Inferno was particularly sharp or annoying, so it does seem that there could be a problem with yours.
