Hi all,
Before Christmas I purchased a laptop from PCSpecialist with the aforementioned wireless adapter installed. I hadn't noticed any problems with it at all, but over the past 2-3 weeks, every time I try to stream something online, the wireless network disconnects and reconnects.
I've done a bit of digging online and from what I can see it's a problem with the driver provided by Intel; my question is, has anyone else suffered from the same problem, and if so, how did you fix it? I've tried to revert back to an old version of the driver but my laptop seemed unable to install it. I'm kind of at a loose end here as it makes streaming anything pretty much impossible on the machine, and it doesn't seem to want to recognise my Virgin Media dongle so I can't even try that out!
