Hi all,

Looking to replace my wife's gaming machine to enable her to run some newer titles.....I probably have around £650 to spend but the good thing is I don't need a gfx card as I already have a brand new boxed 2GB nVidia GTX 750 Ti....
I know there's some quality folk here that give great advice....
Basic spec I looked at - what can be improved/changed?

She will be using it for gaming such as: Overwatch, The Witcher 3, Wildstar, Hurtworld, and some future titles also....
I also don't need a 2nd hdd as I have a 2TB Caviar Black waiting to go in also.....

Thanks in advance!

I'd suggest a better cooler, potentially the CM212 Evo
I'd also suggest 2666MHz DDR4 as it's a relatively modest cost increase that can net significant performance gains: http://www.hardwareunboxed.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1570
Potentially a 550W PSU if you want more upgrade options in the future.

To fund that, 8gb RAM is sufficient, and you can add more RAM in future if you decide you want more with less hassle and waste than, say, deciding you wanted a bigger PSU.

You can actually get by on 8gb RAM even when it's not enough http://www.techspot.com/article/1043-8gb-vs-16gb-ram/page3.html
(but you have to run shedloads of browser tabs while gaming etc for it to not be enough)

Yep, that sounds all good...have made those changes to the spec and still fits within my budget.....
I mentioned what you said about browser tabs to the wife and she burst out laughing (She narks me off as she has literally dozens of browser tabs open at all times haha) - you must have read her mind :p

I can drop the ram too as I have the same 2666 ram in my own machine (32 gigs of the stuff) so that can work fine :)
