Intel SSD hardware encryption

Hey,

I am awaiting my new Optimus IV, and genuinely cannot wait!

Just a question out of curiosity ... I've purchased the Intel 520 SSD, and with all intel ssd's they come with hardware encryption as standard. You can set a boot password via bios, and this password will be written straight into the hardware ... Thus making your laptop more secure.

The only problem is that this feature is only available if the motherboard bios supports it...

So anyone know if this feature is available on the Optimus IV?

Sorry no idea on your question, just ordered myself the same chassis with 17" screen and 120GB 520 SSD.

What spec did you for for, did you get a 2nd hdd?

When did you order yours?
