Internet Issues!

Sorry if this is the wrong threa dor wrong forum but i know people on here are nice and always willing to help

I bought my pc around christmas and everything to do with internet was great, not including weather issues but thats different. Up untill now ive been downloading at a regular 800kb/s on uTorrent. In the past few days my regular speed is between 0.1 and 40kb/s. Any solutions for how to boost speed or undo anything thats happened to my internet (its not acctually my pc as on xbox i cant join any games and if i do im on solid 1 bar).

I use BT HomeHub 2 and live on the Shetland Islands.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Please check your speed here http://www.speedtest.net/ rather then torrent, and see if it is torrent thats the issue or your connection.

Have you tried turning your router on and off again? (No "The IT Crowd" pun intended)

haha yes i have tried that and i also installed a new thing that u plug into the wall before the router goes in and it made no difference

I suspect any solution may involve talking to BT , its possible something has happened to the line or anything and if that's the case only they can fix it.
