Ionico Iii 17 both drives have failed. No USB function to reinstal windows on replacement drive

I used a smaller flash drive as well as the 32 GB ones. This was an 8gb. Same result. It has a tiny green led that flàshes when it's in use. Nothing from the iconic sadly.

Also, regarding warranty. My experience with laptops over the last 20 years is that I've never had one fail like this. I've never had a drive fail. Hdd or ssd. I imagined that the warranty provided by PCS would be sufficient.

Anyways. Thanks to all for your input. I have one last option to try and then it'll have to go back for repairs.

Actually now you've got me thinking about the possible causes of 3 failures, the drives, I can't comment on, that seems really unlucky.

But the USB issue is not one I've seen before, as I understand it, there is a PCH (Platform Controller Hub) controller chip on the motherboard that manages the USB throughput and PCIe. I wonder if somehow that chip may have failed, that could relate to both the drives issue and the USB
