Is 120hz screen better with this high end graphics card or 60hz

Most high refresh rate monitors are 144Hz, and you definitely want to go for 144Hz with a GTX1080, and if can afford it get one with Gsync.

As it's a laptop there are only 3 choices available from PCS - 60hz (actually 75hz) 1080p gsync, 120hz 1080p no gsync, and 4k no gsync.
