Is there any point of installing optional drivers?

Such as

CCD_Optional
Realtek_Optional
EnergySave_Optional
GSensor_Optional
TPM_Optional

Do they have any benefit or should I stick to minimal essentials?

Realtek has to do with audio. I think it can add various adjustments to sound options.

The Energy Save one usually switches your laptop settings to different modes (eg less brightness) when you have your machine plugged or unplugged to save battery life.

Thanks, might just take the Realtek one then :)

Take a manual System Restore point (so you can get back to where you are now) and then install these optional drivers. If you don't like what they do, or if they don't install or work properly just go back to the system restore point you took earlier to get rid.

TPM is trusted Protection module, which isn't installed as standard.

GSensor usually points to an accelerometer, don't know if it has one?

CCD could be CloneCD as bundled software for backup purposes, although not at all sure.
