I assume you're going to be using some kind of external storage? If you're doing any gaming at all you'll run out of space quick with only 256Gb. Saying that, I've never gamed with an externally stored game before so can't say how good or bad it will be.

I would very, very strongly recommend upgrading to the GTX 1050 ti.

The 1050 ti only increases the PC's cost by a small amount, but is 30-35% better for gaming. Given that you can't upgrade the laptop's GPU and you'll be stuck with what you buy at the outset, a 1050 ti could significantly increase the viable gaming lifespan of the laptop. Plus give you better performance in today's games.

You may want to consider getting 1x8gb RAM to leave a slot free for another 8gb in the future.
