Is this perfect for ~£1,950? Are the Motherboard and M.2 SSD Compatible?

Is the motherboard fully capable (PCIE x3?) of handling the M.2 SSD I've selected? Do you have a 4k 28inch monitor recommendation? Do you have any other comments please?

I can't go higher than £2k. Thank you!

I would go for the Z270E motherboard for the extra M.2 slot for about £5

Also the 270E comes with 867mbps wifi. Depending on what you need from your network connection you could ditch the wifi card and just use that.

The 3200MHz DDR4 seems to be £1 more.

I would probably suggest you get the CS 650 PSU rather than the VS. It's better build quality and might be nice to have to power a £2k PC (plus the future upgrade options it might open up).

You didn't say what the PC was for, but assuming gaming it looks like a nice build. :)

What monitor are you pairing it with? If 1080p 60hz the GTX 1080 is a waste.

Thank you! This is really helpful and I'll amend my spec according to this. Yes, it's for gaming, hopefully at 4k resolutions!

I actually added a question asking for 4k 28inch monitor recommendations. I can spend about £350 on a monitor, do you have any good recommendations please??

I'm not well versed in monitors. I suspect a lot of recommendations for 4k screens would be more than £350 though.

For a cheap one that seems decent for what you're paying (sub £300) there's the AOC U2879VF

The Dell P2415Q may be an option around £380 if you like your IPS screens.
