Is this spec ok for editing?

Hey, so I'm a university student studying media and I want to go into a media field. As part of my course I use premiere pro and after affects constantly, I use the university's very expensive pcs to do the majority of my editing but I would like a laptop to do hd editing and after effects on when I'm at home. I made up this spec with help from the kind people at pc specialist and I'm wanting to know your thoughts. Would this spec be capable of providing a smooth, fast and enjoyable editing experience or would it be really laggy and take a long time to edit around 20miutes of film and effects
? Thanks!

This is as good as it's gonna get for laptops. I mean you have top of the line CPU, NVME SSD, rtx 2060. It's near perfect.

What is your budget, that would help with possible changes. That should be pretty good with what you want but if you are not worried about having a very bulky laptop and have the budget, look at the Octane. That is really a desk top replacement rather than straight laptop but it has the advantage of having a genuine desk top CPU, albeit at not quite the same power.

My budget is max £1500. I would really prefer to have a thinner laptop thorough to make it more lightweight as I will be carrying it around white a bit. Thanks for advice!

One thing you should bear in mind is that thinner and lighter laptops are harder to keep cool, especially when you have a top-end CPU/GPU combination inside and when you plan to be working them quite hard. What you don't want to do is to go for a thin and lightweight laptop and then find you also have to carry a fan assisted cooling pad around with you too. :)
