Yep, I'd not worry. If PCS allows you to chose the 450w is because is a suitable PSU.

Saved money on delivery, thankfully I'm heading down south to Glasgow on Friday, I live on the Isle of Skye in the highlands of Scotland and I would've had to pay an extra £12 for postage

You didn't chose fast track? That is pretty fast, around 7 working days for testing.

Yeah that ps3 has sadly died (YLOD, it overheated and I found no way to fix it), so that's its temporary grave RIP!

Served me well, 4-5 years with no problem!


So I bought the newer version, and I chucked the box there

Ah right. My original Phatty died after 3 years late last year. Took it back to Argos, stated the Sales of Goods Act and after a bit of arguing, walked away with a brand new PS3 Slim free of charge.
