Yes my PC has arrived this afternoon, after tracking it from Leeds-Hatfield-Croydon love DHL tracking service. Box seems in good condition, but I've yet to crack it open, tempting as it is, I've got too much work on at present boohoo, just have to wait for internal pics.....

Must say arrived bang on the 12 day estimate, so good show PCS. Heres a pic of the box, my cat jumped on it (he's obsessed with boxes!) and proved quite handy for scale, its truly enormous.

Rofls, i say open the box, pop the cat in, rma it & watch Gorman's anger as a cat runs rampant throughout pcs HQ

I was tempted to send it back with the cat inside, but then I wouldn't be able to play with my new toy, so Gorman's lucky!

So far so good, new baby seems to be behaving itself. Sys Prep did appear on bootup, but hopefully now I've resolved that (wait to see on next bootup). Rest assured should I get stuck I'll post a query on the troubleshoot section of the forum.

Oh in case anyone has any doubts, go ahead and order! Its a quality product with support and advise to back it up (surprising for a company in this day and age). The thing that made me decide to use PCS (apart from price, ease of spec configuration and rave reviews) was the forum, a wealth of knowledge and calm advise. Also good to see the troubleshooting section almost always had a solution to the problem, helps to dispel any worries should your machine go belly up!

Much thanks and 'shake of the hands' go to the following peeps:

Sanjit Ghosh for building
Garnet Heller for testing
Craig Whiteley for quality control
Anthony Cunliffe for careful, thorough packing

And finally, here's the full pics (apologises for the quantity, but this should give peeople an idea of the quality of the product) enjoy....

That kiddy writing.

The goody box.

Good padding.

Out of the box - the spongy foam stuff did a good job.

Full glory!

Gotta be careful when removing the padding inside, making sure not to tear out any components and also when taking off the side panel, that fan wire looks awfully flimsy.

The interior is remarkably tidy, and has more space than my previous heap of a PC. Hopefully airflow in the Maelstrom case will be sufficient.

The Titan Fenrir heatpipe is certainly a titan, I was surprised just how large it was, probably makes up half the PC's weight.

The dual GTX470's, or as I've christened them the sexy twins!

Neat cable management Sanj!

Just updated all the drivers as SLI was locking up when being enabled. Now its on so should have full use of the twin GPU's.

Noise level is about the same as my previous PC, which means its pretty quiet. I was expecting it to be louder, so pleasantly surprised. Of course I've yet to push the GPU's or processor yet, so I'll hold out final comments on noise levels until I do some polygon bashing.

Windows 7 takes some getting used to, although I can see the file structure is much more logical, sure I'll get used to it.

7 is real nice to use when you get the hang of it I had vista on my laptop and it was horrible now I have 7 and its so smooth, boots in about 20 seconds and I only have 2gb ram in it. Also the speed you can flip between folders and web pages is so much quicker and smoother. I love 7.

Hey glad you enjoyed the pc as I built it!So much fun is pointed to the 'kiddy' writing on the box well it was ME!After building 5000+ machine's i'm sure you'd understand that the writing on the box is the least of the worrie's here and we'll make sure we get it looking a little better next time:D,it's nice to see the end product in our customer's houses and doing the job it was built to do.Enjoy!:)

These are some of (if not) the best pics I've seen of an unboxing on our forums. Great job there (+rep), and enjoy your new PC! :D

Thanks for comments guys. I wanted to post lots of pics to try and get accross the quality of the product. Even my partners impressed and said "Its a bit of a monster" and she's the most un-techie woman ever haha.

Thanks Sanj, to be honest the 'kiddie writing' is part of the charm, don't change it, other people waiting for deliveries will be dissapointed.

Incidentally what's the best free software for finding out the temps for my system. I wanna make sure the graphics cards are within heat tolerance levels?

Wow nice rig! Very jealous, especially of those SLI 470s! I've only got one! :( lol Mine weighs a huge amount so yours must be ridiculous! haha
Have fun! :)

It is a beast, a bit too much of a beast actually and it kicks out the heat when running at full whack to the extend that I'm going to have to modify the housing that the PC sits in, probably incorporating a large vent at the rear to funnel the heat up and out the way. Better get my drill and saw out....
