It's not first come first served

My PC is still in pre-production and I ordered it on the 20th of November with a credit card.
My friend ordered his PC about 5 days ago and it's already being built, but he used a debit card?

Is this due to the payment my friend use a debit card or doesn't first come first served apply?

Thanks...

Payment method doesnt affect the progress of an order, unless its finance which can add time.

The only 3 factors which would lead to an order being delayed are:

  • Stock, if the delay is significant the customer is informed
  • Problems during testing
  • Laptop vs PC

Laptops and PC's have completely different production teams.

Thanks for replying, my friend got a PC with similar specs to mine (except the GFX card and the HDD were different).
I don't mind if it's being delayed just as long as it arrives on the 24th or earlier really.

In a similar postion to you. Ordered on 22nd November with debit card but still stuck on pre-production :( Was offered a change of case to the Coolermaster 430 from the 310 as they didnt have it in stock. Changed it in the hope that it would arrive earlier but maybe I should have stuck with the 310 as tomorrow is 6th Dec (due date of new 310 stock) and those that stuck with 310 would be put on priority.

You should still be on priority, regardless of case change because you were amongst those that had a 310 in original quote. Dont forget the 430 is alot more expensive in comparison ;)

I had a similar experience, but as has already been stated, it was due to stock being unavailable. once I had been made aware of it and had adjusted my order, it passed though the remaining stages without further hold up.
