OK so I've finally had one of those calls from some Indian chap on a very faint line. He was calling me to tell me that my computer had a virus and it was going to crash any minute now! Oh no, I thought...:(

I'm glad that this guy had chosen to call me, because I was going to drag the call on for as long as possible to waste his time. I made him wait 5 minutes while my computer "booted up" and then a few more minutes to get to Internet Explorer.

He asked me to type in www . alm*** .com and click enter.

So I said to him, can I just check the domain name with you again - is it www. go f*** yourself .com?

He said, no, no, www . alm*** .com.

I said, OK, www. go f*** yourself .com?

No - www. alm*** .com

This went on for another two of three times until he finally realised what I was saying to him, then he hung up. Fool.

Haha, nice. Can't believe he didn't realise the first time you said it :p
Although, you'd have to be an idiot to believe your computer was about to crash, considering it was turned off, he's obviously pretty slow!

:D what was the site he sent you about? downloaded a virus or something? It would be interesting to find out, especially if it downloaded a virus

Probs a site which has you download 'fake' anti-virus software, or installs spyware... Though to be honest people who fall for these are idiots.

My uncle got a call from an Indian bloke asking to speak to the occupier, uncle said he wasn't in, then asked to speak to occupiers wife, again said she wasn't in, so the Indian bloke asked who he was, "the burglar, but shhh don't tell the police", then hung up the phone hahaha :D

Because Microsoft are going to suddenly start cold calling their customers. I mean, they really have the time and resources to do that, and are world renowned for their free customer service. *cough*

It reminds me of E-mails I sometimes get from nigerians wanting me to pay them a small fee to transfer a larger amount of money to my bank account.
