Just ordered the above and hoping it would be deliever as soon as possible. Recent full production period has been alarming.
One thought of mine is upgrading the GPU to GTX 980m, but as usual, money is the problem.
Any modification advise?

I would use this for mostly web and hardware development (nothing too resource intensive) and gaming. But looking at 3-4 years usage

You will need to check but with other promos PCS have emailed the download code as well as putting it on your account order page. I imagine you will choose the title when you log into the download site.

Well unless you already have a hard disk you could also add one of those since 250GB is hardly any space for a gaming machine with games coming in sizes of 50GB now a days

Also I've ordered the 980m but the 970m actually hits the sweet spot in price and performance. You can have a look at the links below to compare them.

Yeah, I do have another HDD for my files.

I have read 'all' reviews for the GTX 900M series and quite sold on the 980m, but the cost is way over.
I wish this model comes with an i5 CPU so I can upgrade the GPU. I am also wondering if PCS can fit in 2 x 4GB RAM instead of the 1 x 8GB
