Killer 1202 Bluetooth Not Working

Well, here I am again with another problem I can't seem to solve.

As of this morning when I turned my Laptop on I received a balloon popup saying that one of my USB devices had malfunctioned. I thought that it was probably my phone acting up again and thought nothing more of it until I went to use my Bluetooth K&M. It usually automatically connects but there have been times where I have to pair it again to use it. I went into the devices section of Windows 8 and tried to scan for it but found nothing. I then went and tried my phone and again couldn't find anything. So I decided to restart and the same message popped up. I went into Device Manager and under 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' I have 'Unknown USB Device (Set Address Failed)'. This device is giving me an error code 43.

I decided to uninstall the Killer Suite and the Bluetooth Suite, restart, install it again and restart. Same message and error.
I downloaded and installed the newest version from the Killer site but the error still persisted. To make sure it wasn't a USB device that was malfunctioning I decided to install both the old and the newest version again but each time taking everything that was plugged in out and putting the Laptop into Aeroplane mode. Trying to manually install the driver just tells me that the best version is already installed and still continues to show error 43.

I currently have the newest version installed and the WiFi is working perfectly but the Bluetooth is gone. There is no option in the Advanced Settings for the Killer Wireless Device or the Killer Suite program to toggle the Bluetooth. Attached are screenshots of Device Manager.

If anyone has any ideas then please let me know. Hopefully, as per usual, it will be something stupid that I've missed.

First ensure that you have all the latest drivers installed (I know you've done that but just make sure you have the latest ones on there now). Unplug all USB devices and (this is the bit you missed) unplug the mains power cord and take out the battery. Go and make a cup of coffee or tea (your choice :)). Then plug the battery back in and reboot. See whether that helps?

The power cord and battery need to be out to ensure all memory and caches are drained, even though a laptop is switched off it's still "powered" if the mains cord and battery are inserted. This is a useful troubleshooting tip for all sorts of laptop problems.

Thanks, unfortunately I've already had a cuppa so I'll leave it like this until I get back in the evening. I'll let you know.

Amazing how the simplest things are always missed but manage to fix it. After leaving it all day then restarting it came back but wouldn't let me install any driver for it. I uninstalled and installed the latest file again and it's working now. Thanks, ubuysa.
