Lap trays

Has anyone used a laptray thing? Big bit of plastic (I think) with a cushion underneath so you work on it etc?

Has anyone used a laptop cooler with one of these?

I bought one of these for my gf and she loves it. Nothing fancy like cooling, but keeps it off ya knees and handy storage bit in the middle

I've seen that. How firm is the top surface? I'm concerned that it may be soft enough to allow the legs to sink in, thereby blocking the vents on the underside of the chassis, leading to overheating.

I've seen the Lapinator and similar products. Just wondering about whether anyone's used anything else?
