Laptop for general gaming

Hi all

I'm looking for a laptop which could be used for everyday gaming. I don't really need to play games in ultra settings but would like the option of comfortably playing new releases.
I've been out of the market a long while and so don't really know the basic requirements a laptop should have to cover this!

My price range is about £400-500, and obviously I'd like the best bang for my buck!
My partner owns a Go-Pro and so she might also like to use it to edit videos.
Games I'd frequently play include Diablo 3, Dota 2, Fallout 4 (ideally, but not a necessity), Dark Souls.
Everyday use for documents etc. would also be great.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

An entry level gaming laptop is going to set you back around £630, you won't get a dedicated graphics card (required for gaming) for less than that.

Entry level gaming laptop

I had posted a spec into an existing thread in another area of the forums but thought this was more suitable.

How does this spec for low level entry gaming for game such as Dota 2 and Diablo 3, ultra settings not necessary.
