Basically im off toi uni in september so im in need of a laptop to take away rather than my 8 year old desktop which is starting to show it's age a little now. Im planning on doing a small ammount of gaming, but nothing too intensive and other than that it'll be used for general purpose work and play. This one comes in at around £580 out of my £600 budget. Any advice would be welcomed, especially around the graphics/network facilities :)

Do you really need the SSD? youre only getting 120gb of storage (approx. 40 of which will be OS etc).

I would suggest removing the SSD, getting the Hybrid HDD (500 or 750gb) and adding a dedi graphics card (not sure which one, not too clued up on laptop gpus).

You can upgrade to 8gb ram if you want for £13 over your budget but its not nessacry, the gpu will help alot more than the ssd when playing games and also some more storage with the cavair black and the same cpu.
