Laptop hinges gone

So my laptops hinges that were on their last legs have finally gone, so there is now no resistance whatsoever, the screen literally swings from closed to 180 degrees.

I have a feeling the parts that are gone are the ones highlighted in red in the picture below, but I just wanted confirmation of this?
Also whats the best thing to do to fix this?

I would giev PCS a call tomorrow, they might be able to track down the parts for you but im not sure
