Hi all,

I am experiencing problems with my laptop bought last summer. I know it is not the top spec possible, but I am surprised of the poor performances recently. I started using Adobe Premiere Pro to edit a video. Nothing fancy, no effects or anyting complicated. But the laptop keep freezing, with a Nvidia alert message :
The Nvidia openG: driver lost connection with the display driver and is unable to continue. The application must close. Error code 8.

And then an other alert come : Display driver stopped reponding and has recovered. ....

I also started playing Battlefield 3, not playing in Ultra, just a mix of medium and hight, and there also, it keep freezing.

I post my spec below, and hope somebody can help me know why this is happening.

Thank you

Looked into this a bit on the net the other night, when the error showed up you should have got the Nvidia address to goto. Looking at other ppl's problems it could be a few things try these.

1. some ppl mentioned that they just had to get the latest drivers, if you have try
2. others mentioned they had to find an older driver as there was a problem with the new ones
3. try changing the settings in the nvidia command page changing the 3d settings etc and see if the game runs better
4. others mentioned it was a problem with adobe clashing with nvidia might try removing and then reinstalling adobe.

other than that it's just try searching the net for a few more answers i'm afraid
