Laptop not booting after Recovery

I have an Optimus V13.3 Laptop that was endlessly crashing on boot. I recovered the PC with the USB Recovery Disc I made recently. This has gone through (Full reset of PC, wiping all programs and data) but when it boots, it reports it cannot find a boot partition.

How can I get the disc back to factory defaults ? Where can I get hold of recovery discs (even generic ones). ?

Have you gone into the bios to check boot order? If not, go in and see if hard drive is the 1st boot device

I've gone into the bios and checked everything, and everything is correct. After recovery, there is no longer a boot partition on the drive, even though all the partition appear correct. Basically, the recovery broke something, and broke it so well that even Advanced Options > Startup Diagnosis cannot bind anything.

Thanks for replying. I've since decided to just scrap the disk and have downloaded a Windows 8 ISO and booted from that and installed manually.
